When Marcos Eduardo Piva founded Piva Advogados in 1992, he envisioned a firm where legal services were not synonymous with inaccessibility. His vision was to promote and enable business and commercial agreements based on law, justice and security, breaking with the tradition of superficial and contentious relationships.
Marcos decided to tackle the lack of guarantees to ensure business security and adequate access to justice. His ideal was to fight corruption and bring transparency to negotiations, always based on law and justice. An ideal in which corruption and under-the-table situations were brought into the light of the security and justice of the law.

Marcos Eduardo Piva, a lawyer who has been practicing for over 30 years, led Piva Advogados with a clear vision: to make justice accessible to all. He implemented an innovative approach, focusing on highly dedicated and hard-working legal services to defend your rights, provided in an accessible, negotiable manner, always respecting ethical relations.
A significant milestone in this trajectory was the expansion of our ideals with the inauguration of our international headquarters in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, in 1997. This established Piva Advogados as the first Brazilian law firm registered in Japan, serving the Brazilian community there until 2007 and demonstrating the ability to provide international legal services with the same dedication and efficiency.
The office
In Brazil, the office has grown from a small space on Rua Marcone, in the center of São Paulo, to Moema, on Avenida Agami, then to Campo Belo, on Rua Conde de Porto Alegre, and, in 2023, to the modern headquarters on Rua Henrique Brammer Netto, 210, in São Paulo. Each move represents an advance in the search for transparency, viability and good agreements in commercial business.
